Does your organization have a celebrity spokesperson? Check out the “Goodygraph”— a personalized, digitally autographed photo from a celebrity, athlete, politician, delivered to the donor’s mobile phone or email in response to a text donation. Sharable on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media.

TEXT GIVING:


Text GIVING enables your organization to raise money through text message donations. Supporters of your cause simply text a keyword(s) to shortcode(s) and their $5 or $10 donation is applied to their cell phone bill. For example, “Text the word KID to 80100 to donate $5 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

ELIGIBILITY:


Your organization must meet a few requirements, set forth by the Mobile Giving Foundation (MGF) and mobile carriers, to qualify for text GIVING. These include:

  • 501(c)3 exempt non-profit
  • In business for over one year
  • Minimum $500,000 in annual revenue

 

IMPULSE GIVING:


Once your Text GIVING campaign is live, anyone with a cell phone can text your organization’s unique keyword to a designated 5-digit shortcode and make a donation. They receive a text message asking them to reply “YES” to confirm their donation, which is applied to their next cell phone bill. It’s that easy. The donor can give to that keyword / shortcode combination up to 3X per month.
